S-200 Welded Steel Pipe is designed and manufactured in accordance with AWWA C200 Standard and with AWWA Manual M11. S-200 is manufactured in sizes 32” through 124” O.D., in joint length up to 50’. Hanson steel pipe is mortar lined (AWWA Standard C205) and is available with Polyurethane (AWWA Standard C222) or tape (AWWA Standard C214) coating.

Features:

Steel pipe combines high strength and ductility which allows higher operating pressures, stresses and strains without breaking from water hammer and surge that may occur due to natural man-made disturbances.

Steel pipe is sometimes preferred because of its light weight and availability in longer lengths. As such, it can be economically transported longer distances.

A key advantage to steel pipe is that it is easy to fabricate, which allows it to be engineered and manufactured into various sizes, shapes and configurations.
